About Each Member

Petrova Mulvey
Born with a love of singing Petrova started performing at age 7. She has been studying singing for over 10 years and has studied with Deirdre Hannify, through the Leinster School of Music with Dr. Veronica Dunne and with IVA mentor and Master coaches.
Petrova is an award winning performer and member of Athlone Musical society for 10 years, most recently taking the role of Justice Charlier in "Rock of Ages". She is a long term member of with local choir “Anam” and has performed has internationally with them.
She has also performed as a soloist in numerous recitals and concerts both locally and nationally and is a regular member of the Dean Crowe Panto. Petrova is an IVA certified vocal coach and is the owner of The Athlone School of Singing.

Jonathan Kilduff
PIANIST
Jonathan has been studying piano since the age of 7 with his first teacher, Mary McKeown. He completed his Grade 8 piano exam along with his AVCM (Associate of the Victorian College of Music) in 2010 at the age of 17.
In 2011, Jonathan continued his music education in Maynooth University where he was tutored by Leonora Carney and in 2015 he received Honoours in his Bacheor of Music Degree.
Jonathan currently teaches Piano and performs as an accompanist and concert pianist.

Sarah Corcoran
Sarah has been involved in music from a very young age, her first appearanace being in Oliver with ballinasloe musical society in 1997, from there she caught the bug! She has been involved in many musical productions since then with an array of musical societies and production companies in the West of Ireland taking many leading roles.
Sarah was the 2012 winner of Coyote Factor, one of Galway's most prestigious talent competitions . Three time all Ireland Fleadh Cheoil winner, Sarah is an experienced traditional Irish singer and tutors many youngsters in the tradition.
Sarah is an also experienced wedding performer with experience of over ten years, as Lead singer with the "Wondertones" an 8 piece Galway based wedding band and a ceremony singer. She has also recently completed a Diploma in musical theatre at the Irish College of Musical Theatre in Dublin .
Sarah trained under Marie Power and teaches many young voices in her own school of singing. Sarah has performed both locally and nationally and has a love for music that is second to none.

Cherise O'Moore
Cherise has been singing for as long as she can remember. From a young age Cherise started to complete her Classical and Musical Theatre exams with the Royal Irish Academy of Music through Kilkenny Academy of Music. She has been studying Classical Singing through her vocal coach Paddy Rafter since she was 10 years old.
Through her teenage years Cherise performed in many local Pantomime productions and with various Stage Schools including the Alfie Kilduff Theatre Stage School and Attitude Dance Academy. Some of her favourite character roles include Eponine from "Les Miserables" and Nala from "The Lion King". Cherise has performed at the All-Ireland Variety Competition for several years with award winning theatre groups.
Currently, Cherise is an active member of Athlone Musical Society after joining last year for their production of "Rock of Ages", she played the lead role of "Sherrie Christian". Locally, she is a vocal instructor and wedding vocalist, as well as a vocalist for many charity and fundraising opportunities.
Cherise is proud to have performed all over the country and is delighted to be a part of the Elysian Ensemble.
